I made another youtube video.
This time I want to show you how it is possible to paint a rose irrespective of your experience in painting flowers. I also want to show how there are so many different styles and ways in which to use watercolour paints.
Whilst painting, I am talking about perfectionism. I believe perfectionism has an undeserved reputation of being something to strive for and I feel we should let go of the idea that everything needs to be perfect.
When we learn something, there should be space for flaws. For "failure".
It is fun to practice and seeing yourself improve and failure is nothing more than part of the growth process in my opinion.
I am curious to hear how you feel about different painting styles, about perfectionism and about fear of failing.
Does the thought of having to be perfect ever stop you from trying something new?
Hope you all have a lovely day!
Best,
Irene
