About the course
In this course you will learn how to paint birds in Gouache. Gouache is an opaque water based paint that is perfect for vibrant illustrations with lots of detail. This course is for you if: -If you would like to make a start in gouache painting -If you love birds and would like to learn how to illustrate them -if you want to build a painting habit and create on a regular basis. -if you don't know where to start and you would like to paint as part of a creative community -if you are looking to make March a creative, fun and artful month. -If you want to illustrate birds but don't know where to start. What to expect: During the course we will paint 10 birds together. . The course also includes introduction sessions and explainer video's on how to use gouache and what to expect. The course is perfect for any level. For beginners I have created real easy to follow step by step drawing templates that you can use to set up your sketch or even paint directly on. More experienced creatives can sketch freehanded and practice their observation skills that way. If you are looking to make a living of your art you will learn how to paint with gouache which is a perfect medium for illustrators and you will have 10 paintings in a clear style to add to your portfolio. Materials needed are: a gouache paint set, brushes, watercolour paper a palette and a water cup.
